Don’t put all the images onto Flickr just so you can host them. Flickr is for PICTURES, not website images. If you’re looking for an image host, there are tons of them out there. AllYouCanUpload, ImageShack, Photobucket. Its really tacky when the only reason you use Flickr is to upload images for your website (no offense Matt Blender), but, I think it also violates Flickr’s TOS.
Your second question, yes, you can hide images and then link them to a public website as far as I know, at least it works with my LiveJournal.

That was a great show, and I really loved the song. Hopefully you won’t become too bogged down with things. And I personally hate theme songs. It’s 30 seconds I could spend listening to something else.
