   Everyone should have the upmost respect for construction workers and slow down whenever they are in a construction zone. You mentioned wondering what its like for those people when they go home, if everyone would slow down, everyone of them would get to go home. Sadly, they are sometimes ran over or hit by cars speeding by. There are a few people in my family that work on the roads everyday, its a hard ass job. They’re standing out on pavement with the sun beating down on them, sometimes they’re even pouring asphalt which is even hotter than the temperature outside. Then, the sad fact of the matter is that when they come home they don’t have anything to show for a HARD day at work, at least the ones I know. They live in some little shack with their wife and two kids with not a lot.
