You have to be kidding me. Making a joke about rape surrounding the pronouncement of judgement against someone else making a politically incorrect joke? You can toss of cunt and rape as jokes without batting an eyelash, and you cast moral judgement on the girl on PNS. I’m well aware that HIV is very serious, but why not rape or mysogyny? I’m well aware of the context that this girl is not a homosexual and is, therefore, perhaps not privileged, but beyond that, which one of you is a woman that gives you the right to make fun of sexual assualt and other issues?

You’re right Kalvin, it was a bit off color fo me to make that joke. Although it may not have seemed like it in the podcast but I was deeply hurt by her comment and thought it horribly insensitive. I can only explain it in that I wanted to hurt her the same way she hurt me by saying that HIV was a superpower. Let repeat that is an explanation for what I said, not an excuse. Sometimes when someone hurts you you can’t help but want to hurt them back, doesn’t make it right though. I just have to rise above my emotions next time.

The flute IS awesome! I was glad to hear some flute love in this episode. I played the flute in 5th and 6th grades, but switched to Alto Sax for the remainder of my Band career due to PEER PRESSURE by people who thought the flute was only for girls.
Good show, guys. BTW, Annie’s comment on PNS, which I heard before I listened to this, was out of line and uncalled for, drinking or not. But, I’ve said some really stupid things when I’ve been drunk, so I guess I can’t judge too much.
