Great show.
1. You don’t have to agree with someone to respect them. Hence the phrase respectfully disagree. It has more to do with their actions. You could even agree with someone but not respect them because they act unethically etc…
2. Just thought I’d point out that Canada’s current Governor General (head of state) is a woman and she’s an immigrant from Haiti. http://www.gg.ca/menu_e.asp
3. Also we have a gay MP running for the leadership of the Liberal party so theoretically we could have a gay Prime Minister after the next election. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scott_Brison

Oh I forgot to mention this…for all intensive purposes…Pres Bush WAS born in New Haven, CT but his family moved to Texas when he was 2 years old…so in a way he IS a Texan, as he spent his life growing up in Texas…Sorry my friend but that makes you a Texan. Your place of birth does not make you. It would be different story if he was born in CT and moved to Texas when he was 15 or something. I guess the reason I bring this up is I was born in CT and I do consider myself from CT born and raised. But my family moved us to FL when I was 15. I am NOT a Floridian and could never even consider it.
